Q. How do I nominate someone?
A. On August 1st of each year a link appears on the Gospel Website to submit nominations. On January 1st of each year a link appears on the Hip-Hop Website. Click the link to submit nominations.

Q. How much does it cost to get in?
A. General Admission is $45.00,
V.I.P. Admission is $75.00 (grants access to private Founder's Brunch, red carpet & V.I.P. Table Seating in Reserved area of auditorium)

Q. When can I book my room and where?
A. A link will appear on the home page of each award show once the hotel booking is available. Rooms for Gospel Awards are available now. Click Here

Q. Can any group perform on the pre-show. (Gospel Awards)
A. Yes, the pre-show is open to all artists. Each artist must submit a Pre-Show Registration Form. Click Here

Q. Do Nominees get in the show for Free?
A. No, nominees must secure a show ticket for the taping. A limited number of tickets are sold to nominees at a discounted price. This information is provided on the nominee information form.

Q. How do you choose your nominees? (Hip-Hop Awards)
A. On January 1st - February 28th of each year a link appears on the website. The public is then able to submit the names of artists to be nominated. At the end of the nominations period, the top 12 names with the MOST nominations are placed on the ballot for voting.

Q. Who is the host of the show?
A. (Gospel) Pastor Lisa Knowles-Smith & Dr. Darrell Petties. Music Director, Regal Moore of Tuscaloosa, AL.
(Hip-Hop) Host not been selected at this time.

Q. When does voting end?
A. Voting for the gospel division is unlimited through March 4, 2024, at 12 midnight.

Q. Do I have to select a name in every category when voting?
A. Yes, you must select a name in every category, or you will not be able to submit your ballot. If you do not know someone in a category simply randomly select a name. Any name you select will help someone advance with another vote.

Q. What are the qualifications to become a nominee.
A. Any gospel artist who resides in the U.S. can qualify as a nominee as long as the artist verifies as legitimate in a particular category.

A. Yes, voting is unlimited until the ballot closes.

Q What is the pre-show? (Gospel Awards)
A. The pre-show is an exclusive evening dedicated to nominees, providing them with an invaluable platform for networking and showcasing their talents. This event offers a range of performances including praise teams, choirs, dance/mime teams, solo artists, and quartet groups from across the U.S. It typically begins at 6:00 P.M. on the Friday prior to the main event, extending until 1:00 A.M. (All Night Singing, All Night Long).

Q. How do you choose your nominees? (Gospel Awards)
A. From August 1, 2024 - August 30, 2024, a link appears on the website. The public is then able to submit the names of artists to be nominated. At the end of the nominations period, the top 6 names with the MOST nominations are placed on the ballot for voting.

Q. Do the hip-hop artist have to live in the GTA?
A. No, both music awards shows are for artists anywhere in the 48 U.S. Continental States.

Q. How can I perform on the main event? (BOTH SHOWS)
A. The main event performances are selected by the Music Director (Regal Moore) of the Golden Triangle Music Awards. To be considered for live performances submit your contact info and your BEST performance clip to gtaawards@gmail.com.

Q. Can the nominees choose how names appear on the ballot?
A. Yes, up to 1 week prior to voting, nominees can submit changes to how their name appears on the ballot. Names can appear however the nominees would like it to appear as long as it is deemed appropriate. To submit changes email us at gtaawards@gmail.com
